Information We Collect
Quickly operates inside your Google account and only accesses limited information as necessary to provide the service:
- Google Sheets data: Quickly reads your sheet headers and row data to prepare personalized WhatsApp messages. This data is never stored outside your account.
- API Key: To authenticate your account, users provide an API key. This key is stored securely in your Google Account User Properties and is never shared with other users.
- Message data: Phone numbers, message text, and row references are transmitted securely and used solely to process message delivery.
- History data: Quickly keeps a local history of sent and queued jobs in your Script Properties. This history is private to your account only.
How We Use Information
We use collected information only to:
- Queue and send your WhatsApp messages as instructed by you
- Track the delivery status of your message jobs — queued, sent, or failed
- Provide personalization features such as replacing {{Name}} with values from your sheet
- Maintain your message history within your own account
Data Storage & Security
- Your API keys and settings are stored in Google Apps Script Properties, scoped exclusively to your Google account.
- No spreadsheet content is permanently stored on our end — message data is only processed temporarily for delivery.
- All communication uses HTTPS with API key authentication.
- Message delivery logs are retained for 72 hours for tracking purposes, then automatically deleted.
Here is how your data flows through Quickly:
Sharing of Information
We do not share your personal data with any third parties. Your data is only exchanged between:
- Google Sheets — on your own Google account, read only
- Quickly — to process and deliver your messages securely
- WhatsApp Web — to send messages through your own WhatsApp account
No analytics companies, advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties receive your data.
Your Choices & Control
You have full control over your data at all times:
- You may delete your stored API key at any time from Quickly's settings panel inside Google Sheets.
- You may clear your message history and pending queues directly within the add-on.
- You may uninstall the add-on at any time via the Google Sheets Extensions menu.
- You may remove the Chrome extension at any time via Chrome's extension manager.
Upon uninstallation, all locally stored settings and history in your Google Apps Script Properties are removed automatically.
